Yes! I don't know how I survived, but I did. One or two of my Portuguese betas died in the process, but it's all in the name of fanfiction ;-). Now I have to start translating it into English. 12,500 words. I wish I could start tomorrow, but I'm afraid I won't have time before Sunday.

One of the reasons why it's wise to share your hints, tips and ideas with your lj-friends is that there's always someone who has a better idea! soulstar knows a better way of dealing with the Semagic tags. Yay! I'm more optimistic now about the detective story. morgan_d agreed to beta the first part in Portuguese. I'll try to edit it and send it to her tomorrow night. She's a damn good beta for plot. I'll only translate this story after she finishes betaing its three parts. I haven't finished the story yet, but I hope her comments can help me to finish it,

I decided to let the detective story rest for a while, and started another Snarry story. I wrote 3,000 words of it today! It's a very intense and smutty story, but I don't know exactly where I'm going with it. Well, now I'm tired and I'm going to bed. I've finished a first version of about 9,000 words, in Portuguese. But it's far, very far from ready. Things will have to be added and things will have to be cut. I'm not pleased with this version at all. I'll have to work a lot on it.

The detective story has already 5,000 words. I told you it was going to have 10,000 words in the total, but... I have no idea. It's a mined territory. The more I write, the harder it gets.
